City College Nottingham offer a wide range of vocational training courses with recognised qualifications to empower students to succeed and progress when this often has not been possible in schools. We have developed successful working relationships with Schools, private training providers, Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council
The courses provide practical, work-related skills in a choice of subject areas. Students will gain a range of employability skills which will support their progression into further education, training or employment. We offer a full-time or part-time flexible provision to meet the students’ individual needs and students can enrol at any time in the academic year
All courses include Functional Skills in English, Maths and Personal and Social Development and there is a core focus on increasing students’ confidence and motivation, enabling them to take responsibility for their lives.
Each student will receive Information Advice and Guidance sessions to support them during their study and when looking at their future. Students can also access a variety of additional indoor and outdoor sports and leisure activities.
